Naturopathic Physicians are primary care doctors clinically trained in Natural Therapies. Their philosophy is derived, in part, from a Hippocratic teaching more than 2,000 years old: Vis mediatrix naturae...nature is the healer of all diseases. Their practice is based on the same, basic, bio-medical science foundation as allopathic medicine. Their philosophies and approaches, however, differ considerably from their conventional counterparts.
Naturopathic Physicians diagnose and treat patients using natural methods including: Clinical Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Acupressure, Oxygen Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Vitamin, Mineral, Nutraceutical and Enzyme supplementation. They choose treatment based on an individual, not on the generality of symptoms. |
